This beachfront home sits on one of the best private beaches in southeastern Connecticut. The sand is soft, the beach is seldom crowded by the few who share beach rights, and Duck Island is right out the window, less than a mile away.
The owners named it for their five children, their “ducklings,” and for the ducks that swim in the waters off Duck Island. Inside, the remodeled home has updated appliances and brand-new furnishings.
